Indoor Positioning System (IPS)

Global Positioning Systems changed the world, from the way we travel to international logistic solutions. Their only problem is their limitation for indoor use. In this project we developed an Indoor Positioning System based only on Wi-Fi signals.
  • Locate yourself, and others;
  • Search for internal points of interest, separated by categories and profiles;
  • Easily locate collaborators in emergency situations;
  • Collect data of user's behavior inside the buildings;
  • Works online and offline, Internet connection is not required;
  • Wi-Fi based technology - Uses the access points already present on the plant. No need to invest in new equipment.

Intelligent Storage

Data centers and high performance computing are in constant evolution. This requires innovative approaches to find the best performance-per-watt ratio, such as intelligent storage devices. In this project, we evaluated distributed in-situ solutions running inside large capacity and energy-efficient SSD devices.
  • Benchmark existing technologies in custom devices;
  • Automatic configuration of cloud environments using Kubernetes;
  • Development of custom and distributed AI solutions;
  • Real-time image tracking;
  • ​Full-stack solutions to monitor, evaluate, and integrate with automatic services.

E-commerce Platform

Managing an e-commerce nowadays goes much beyond just buying products and reselling them. A typical medium to large seller needs to manage inventory, track purchases, investigate new market tendencies, do dropshipping, interact with clients after sales, among many others. In this project we helped design the architecture for an abstract platform to integrate multiple warehouses and multiple sellers.

Data Engineering

Most Artificial Intelligence algorithms are still highly dependent on one thing, data. Acquiring the right data may be quite laborious and time consuming, especially when the data is scattered from multiple sources, behind unintuitive interfaces, unstructured, or in custom formats. In this work we helped acquire and manipulate data in such conditions.
  • Acquiring data from tableau websites and public web servers;
  • Summarizing the data in a format easily consumable by data analysis tools;
  • Custom library to read and write custom file formats from the Brazilian's National Electrical System Operator.
